a letter from the founder

Flowers have always drawn me in, not just for their beauty, but for their life cycle.

From the first fragile bud to the vibrant bloom, the gentle wilting of petals, and the promise of new life carried in their seeds, flowers remind me that even in fleeting moments, beauty leaves a lasting impression. They thrive in harsh conditions, flourish against the odds, and teach us that celebration of time, of growth, of impermanence is what makes life meaningful.

My journey with flowers began in my childhood, tending to our backyard garden with my father, whose roots ran deep in farming. Those early lessons in nurturing plants taught me patience, hard work, and the quiet joy of watching life unfold. In high school, I deepened that connection by working at a local perennial plant nursery, where I learned that abundance and beauty come from consistency, care, and the occasional pruning.

Yet my path led me away from flowers and toward nurturing people. I pursued a Master's in Social Work and spent years in child welfare, a role that refined me, much like pruning a plant. I came to understand that growth often happens in adversity, that true strength lies in seeing people fully, and that walking alongside others in their joys and hardships is a profound honor.

When I became a mother, my heart needed space to rest. Those early years with my children were a time of hibernation, of dreaming, and of rediscovering my passion for flowers. With weekends and evenings freed up by my partner, Rob, I began creating florals for loved ones starting with my sister's wedding, where I crafted lush coral peonies and vibrant sunset hues. The joy of those moments led to requests from friends, then from strangers, and eventually to a question: Could this be the opportunity to care for my children, stay home, and create beauty in the margins of life?

As my work grew, so did my need for support. Who better to turn to than the incredible mothers in my life? What began as casual hangouts, glasses of wine after bedtime, laughter, and creativity, evolved into a team of hardworking, innovative, and dependable women who share my vision.

But growth requires more than passion; it demands learning. I sought out master florists and studied floral design, constantly refining my craft. This pursuit led me to a deeper conviction: sustainability. The wedding industry can be wasteful, and I'm committed to finding solutions that honor both beauty and the earth. Our work must create meaningful change, for individuals, our community, and the world.

Today, as a social worker turned florist, I find myself walking alongside people through life's most meaningful milestones, from birth to death. Each moment is an opportunity to honor their journey with thoughtful, intentional design.

Flowers taught me that beauty and resilience go hand in hand. And now, I carry that lesson forward not just in petals and stems, but in the lives I touch and the moments I help create.

Studio Philosophy

What we believe in.

01

Luxurious Design, Sustainably Rooted

We believe beautiful florals and responsible sourcing aren't at odds, they're at their best together. From locally grown blooms to compostable mechanics and minimal floral foam, sustainability is part of how we work, not an add-on.

02

Locally Sourced, Seasonally Inspired

Whenever possible, our flowers come from Colorado growers and regional farms. Working with what's in season isn't a compromise, it's what makes each arrangement feel alive and authentic to the moment.

03

Your Day, Your Way

This is not a volume studio. Cosette limits the number of events she takes on each season so that every couple and every occasion receives her full creative energy and personal attention.

04

A Collaborative Journey

We don't hand you a catalog. We walk through the design process together, from your first inspiration photos to the final installation on your wedding day. It's a partnership, and we consider it a privilege.
